I slipped and fell right on my butt a week away. I knew it was bruised...but it's still a little tender while running. Anyone know how long it takes for this discomfort to completely go away?

I fell on ice snowboarding and hurt my tailbone many years ago.  Had to sit on a donut for several weeks.  I seriously thought it was broken.  Anyway, I did see a doctor / got it Xrayed, etc., and he said injuries to the coccyx take a long time to fully heal.  I think mine was probably a total of 2 months before I was 100% back there again.  I think the fact that you are able to run at this point says it won't be quite that long, though.

I remember I had to ice, sit on a donut, use a laxative (hurt to go to the bathroom--even cough or sneeze for that matter!) and take an anti inflammatory.  Maybe try the icing to speed it along?

Good luck to you.
