I started off in the 7min corral but towards the back. I had run 8min/miles last year and I was going to be very disappointed if I didn't beat that. Nothing too exciting of the race but I did a good job of staying more or less with the people I started with. I ended up with 7:15/mile which was beyond what I was expecting. I was thrilled when I thought my time was 7:30/mile but was in awe when I calculated the 7:15/mile pace.

Nothing. It is such a short race and it was a cool morning so I didn't try to take in any fluids while running which usually causes me to slow down and choke on the water.

I gender ranking was Male 544/7005.
Stretched some and walked around watching others finish and seeing what the kids village was like.


Nothing but more training but I am very happy with where I am right now.


Very well run event. My kids had a great time on the kids run and a fabulous time at the kids village. I can't believe all of that stuff was free!
