Ok so chocolate milk it is - now is the Hershey syrup into skim milk the same as a jug of real chocolate milk?

What kind of chocolate milk do you drink? Plain, Ensure, Slimfast, Ovaltine , Hershey

1% premixed organic. I sometimes look forward to workouts just so I can have the recovery drink.

That's what I drink after a workout too! Sometimes after a rough workout I will mix in some chocolate whey protein, to make it more tasty!

Malt Chocolate muscle milk powder mixed into skim milk does the trick for me. Sometimes I mix the choc flavor with cake batter flavor.

Horizon milk boxes.  I usually buy them by the case.  They are 2% and I get either chocolate or strawberry.  They are nice because I can leave them in the car and drink them on the way home.

Ovaltine in organic 2% milk.  Something in my taste buds make me gag when I try whey protein mixes. I think it might be the artificial sweetners, cause I get the same response if I try a diet soda or try to use splenda or other artificial sweetener in my ice tea.  So I'll just stick with my ovaltine.  ;-)

I don't do recovery drinks.  Do you do recovery drinks in lieu of eating food after?  I'm not knocking it, it's just not something that I've ever bothered to do.  I guess if I have a long enough workout that I feel like I need some recovery calories, I'm probably going to have some food afterwards.  And I have usually eaten at some point prior to the workout, so assuming that meal contained protein, then wouldn't my body just use that for muscle repair?

skim milk or 1% chocolate milk (whichever is onsale from supermarket) mixed with some plain protein powder from Protein Factory.

(no sweetener, no favorite.  No crab powder added.  Just whey / egg / soy powder mix and milk.)

If you have problem with sweetener or artificial favor, or worry about the hundred unknown indigents they put in a baggage, you can try this too.
