I should probably put him back. He was VERY imposing.

I think if I ever get a date, I'll have the Tater in my purse so that I'll have the Force with me.

Ok forget my Princess idea. Go to the mall where they sell star wars highend colectables. Find a nice bench and watch for the mature gentelman entering. When he starts near the star wars gear when no one is looking, go in and start a conversation. Make sure that he is not shopping for his son though.

If you are going to go with the Princess Leia costume idea, I would make sure it's the one from Return of the Jedi where she's in Jabba the Hutt's lair. She was smoking hot in that outfit.

There was a piece on the radio today about a group of hardcore fans camped out in front of a theatre for tickets. The problem is, the theatre has not booked the movie. Maybe you could invite one of these guys to go see "Cindrella Man".

Wow... Renee, I feel your pain, that is a tough one.....
Him: must like tri and sci-fi.....
After many years in a relationship, going back to dating was a real pain for me.
Online dating? Been there, done that. It is a real zoo out there!!!!!!!!!!! I promised myself I wouldn't do it again.
Unfortunately you will find someone the moment you stop looking for him.
Example: I starter training for a triatlon in February right when my life got complicated at work. My mantra: Great I am single! I am too busy for a boyfriend, too busy for a boyfriend, too busy for a boyfriend... In March I got a new bike, the cute store manager offered to help me with the bike riding...
It is April, I've been dating the guy for a month. I ride with him on sundays. Dating/Training two birds one stone!

Hey Renee, maybe you can fake a flat tire after you are done with your bike ride! Just sit in one side of the road, looking pretty and hopeless. Just make sure you are wearing your Star Wars tshirt
I'll guarantee you'll have all sort of guys stopping by to help, the Tshirt will be the bait ...

You are a sage.

After reading the "guys like scars" thread I'm thinking maybe I should bloody my knee too (not the right one, though, it can't take much more beating)... or maybe my lip. They'll want to get a close look at it to make sure it's ok. Hmmmm...

All right, gotta throw my $.02 in. I have a strong Star Wars aversion, but even that said, even I know if you go for a Star Wars geek they are not going to want to be sucking face during the movie! They will be quite offended at the sacrilege taking place! Check out the online thing. This sounds horrible, but when I've been in the same situation and just wanted someone to mack on, it works. Just be safe and make sure you drive yourself, etc etc! Match.com works pretty well Seriously, try it! It may seem nerdy, but it isn't even a big deal to most people these days as it is not that different from meeting someone in a bar.
I really like the idea of the "S" marking on the leg. Would have helped me yesterday when I was talking to a guy on the track!

I'm not looking for a Star Wars geek. I'm looking to recreate my first date! First date was with a lean athlete and it happened to be Star Wars (the original).

Right, but some of the votes were about the Star Wars geek, who I just thought you should stay away from if you are wanting to recreate the memory!! Good luck!!

ahhh jeez.
Too bad I have absolutely nothing witty to say.

Ummmmm.

Still nothing.

crap (c'mon jess, think, what would fonzie do??)

Ummm..

sorry got nothing, I was up all night coughing, and not even my Jar Jar blanket provided comfort.

(and for the record, my votes were not for star wars geeks, I suggested that you go after your hunky dungeon master)

Fonzie, I know you suggested your brother. Do you really think anyone else on this board knows what D&D is?

Heck no I didn't suggest my brother. I would never let him be the dungeon master again.

And ohhh, yes...you'll be suprised by how many people know what D&D is. I think you'll notice in my new poll that you seem to be the aficionado of all things D&D.

Renee - 2005-04-20 12:54 PMDo you really think anyone else on this board knows what D&D is?

Isn't it just another way of referring to cup size? As in:

Stake- "Wow, those look great! What size are they?"

Renee- "Well this one's a D, and the other one over here is a D too."

Sorry, I'm going out of my mind with boredom today .

Well that was pretty hilarious but I think you're going to have to explain to JJ what "cup" you are referring to. There's probably some magical chalice or something equally lame that he'll think you're referring to and his brain will short-out trying to figure out what you mean.
