Swim
Comments: Never got into a rhythm. Thought I was drafting well on the person in front of me but had to pass later since he was going much slower than he indicated on his entry time. Did not Bi-lateral breath and pulled up head several times to get oriented in the pool. Had a head-on with another wswimmer who veered over into my portionof the lane. Got into a gruoup of four peolle and jst fought the whole way thru the swim. What would you do differently?: Not enter into snake swim Tri's, or would enter a faster time and and try to keep in fromn of those behind me. Transition 1
Comments: Poor transition - Could not get bike shirt on. cost me valuable time. Also since I was frustrated with the shirt I sat down and put on the rest of my gear. Took way too much time in Transition. What would you do differently?: Get a Tri top and wear it during the swim Bike
Comments: Started slow trying to put on bike gloves and then could not get bike to shift in the big ring. Fought this for the first mile. Rode well on the way back in but had a side stitch for most of the ride so I am sure this hampered me somewhat though I did manage okay What would you do differently?: Make sure I am in the proper gear before the race. Forget the bike gloves on shorter races. Transition 2
Comments: Knocked another competitors bike off rack so I had to get the bike back on the rack. Changes shoes well. Forgot to empty out my back pockets from Bike ride - Tire, CO2 and tools. What would you do differently?: Gte a proper bike bag for my new bike Run
Comments: Had a groin cramp as soon as I started to run so I had to slow down started to pick up pace again and cramp came back so I walked. Then started to run again no problems from that point forward. Had to throw my spare tire and CO2 cartridge to friends on sideline. Slowed down fo rthis as well. My race time was actually better than I targeted and that was with all the difficulities. What would you do differently?: Bike bag - cannot explain the groin cramp since this the first one I ever had. Post race

Swam 50 mtrs, and some basinc stretching - Was too focused on Newbie class and getting them ready.
