Master 1517 Western MA near the VT & NH border on the CT river | Subject: RE: NFL Draft.. whats your team need I think the Patriots will either get Peppers or Taylor so I hope they go with a CB in the draft. But I also wouldnt be disappointed if they get a pass rushing outside LB stud. But I don't know if lightning can strike twice - Mayo was a great pick and fit right into the system w/ a minimal learning curve. Great weekend to be a Boston/ New England Fan with the Red Sox/Yankees and Cetlics/Bulls this weekend too. Edited by ratherbesnowboarding 2009-04-24 12:26 PM |

Can you create one that says "All of the above????" |

That will probably be our pick @ #20. Stafford @ #1, Crabtree @ #20. More offensive fire power is just what we need. Nevermind that our stellar defense gave up 30+ points per game last year. I guess we'll know the answers in about 24 hours. [Going to get the popcorn started now] |

They need to stick where they are and bring in a later round QB to train up like they did with Brady/Cassle in NE! They did the best thing possible anyways - got rid of the Mastermind and crybaby! Only good can come from that! X2 - they have 2 passable QB's. they need D line and some safety help. It sure has been a strange off season. |

Elite 4547 | Subject: RE: NFL Draft.. whats your team need Johnny Bee - 2009-04-24 1:27 PM Is that another Vikings fan voting for coach as well? Now, now, I'm a die-hard Vikings fan who bleeds purple as well. Let's give some credit to our bespectacled coach Childress. The Vikes have steadily progressed from 6-10 to 8-8, to 10-6 over the last 3 years...and that's been virtually without a quarterback. I for one believe Rosenfels is better than Turdvaris Jackson...but I wouldn't mind seeing Pat White as a backup drafted somewhere in the middle of the draft. The Vikes' greatest need at 22 is O-line, R tackle to be specific. I'll be thrilled if Eben Britton falls to 22. Our secondary and wr's are another huge area of concern. Whether the talent is there however (this draft's safeties aren't very highly rated, and I'm not crazy about the wr's) that's the question. They can probably wait until the 2nd and 3rd rounds to address the secondary and/or wr positions. Too many red flags around Vontae Davis...and please don't draft Percy Harvin! Ahhh, the draft, I love it!!! |

X2 But Ken don't you think we need a good backup QB so Tony Simpson er Romo has someone breathing down his back next time he chokes in the playoffs?? |

If you ask the bespectacled coach, we have a quarterback I won't, however, disagree with anything else you stated. Especially the secondary, as after Detroit gets a quarterback in the draft, the 3 other NFC North teams will all have their needs met in that department. |

Call me crazy, but I really think Rosenfels has potential. Turdavris is just awful. His numbers were padded by a 4td game against a Cardinals team that didn't need to win because they had already run away with their crappy division. In tight situations Turdvaris chokes. Bring on Eben Britton! If he's not there, perhaps a trade-down to amass some picks. btw, let Detroit get Stafford for a boatload of money. Honestly, I think they are idiots for going with Stafford and not drafting a guy like Monroe who will be a stud left tackle for 10 to 12 years in the league. Games are won in the trenches. Their O and D lines stink. Putting a big money guy behind a line like that is just asking for trouble. Lions' qb's were sacked 52 times last season. btw, Chicago's going to rue the day they traded away their future for Cutler. Detroit tries putting a #1 drafted qb behind a line that's going to get him killed...and the Bears bring in a "franchise qb" who has no receivers to throw to. Brilliant. |

Childress hitched his wagon to TJ and then built a crap offense around him. Our running backs and left guard are fantastic...and our WR's could be really good, I think, if we had someone who could get the ball to them. Let's hope that Sage works out, because I'm not trusting our future to TJ or JDB. |

WHY isn't this poll multiple choice? :D mostly because I screwed up and couldn't edit it... I wanted multi choice and for people to put in their own choices since I'm sure some of the responses would have been great. Or I could just say I wanted to torment Vikings, and Bronco fans. Raider fans on the other hand just need a hug |
