I'll be out at Red Top mountain tomorrow morning for a swim around 9-9:30ish.  I'll probably do about 3.5-4k yards.  Feel free to join me!

75 North until you see the exit called Red Top Mtn.  I know some of you like to swim at Dallas Landing in Acworth, Red Top is about another 10-15 min. North of that if I recall.  Red Top is the only place I have been for an OWS, so that's why I went there.  there is a nice little cove behind the lodge, but it wasn't as pleasant this time around.  There was a nice film of pollen covering the water and the water level had risen significantly, so there were tons of branches in the water that I couldn't really see from afar.  I'm open to trying other places....

Red Top Mountain is an excellent place to swim, and I am biased cause I live close by :-) The branches and pine cones just make it interesting!! LOL... It wil all clean itself up pretty soon. I'm open to swimming there once a weekend when it warms up a bit.

BTW, it is all Lake Allatoona (Red Top, Acworth, etc).
