Comments:

It was hot and in the bright sun the first half and I felt good the whole way through. But once you hit that first mud puddle...your shoes were giant heavy sponges. Running was a challenge because of lifting your feet, not cause you were tired! I felt if I had been running alone I would have finished maybe 3-4 minutes faster, running with just Christina (wurkit_girl) would have put me easily 5-6 minutes faster, that girl has KICK at the end of a race! To be fair, the race got flatter and much cooler (lots of shade) at the end.
What would you do differently?:

Not put slackers on the team. Start in the very front - the trail was narrow and LOTS of people just walked and it was tough to get around - the obstacles created huge bottlenecks.
Post race
Warm down:

got hosed off by a firefighter and threw away mud-covered stuff.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

having to wait for all 4 teammates to cross the finish line...

Event comments:

I would def do this again!!

Agreed - if we'd started closer to the front, and if it had just been the 2 of us (though Ben could have stayed with us easily, I think), we would have been faster Yay Bunnyz!!!

ben would have easily paced us, he's just a nice guy so he waited for her a bunch.  even in that dang fleece robe!  ha!

Yay for pics! I'm not as good at navigating the mud as MEH, so I took a couple of face plants, and therefore, got dirtier.
