Subject: Inland Lake Water Temps
Anyone know where to check up on these?

I've been googling away to no avail, and hoped someone here could help me out.

Seeing as how my Boise swim is gonna be an ice cooler, I figured a dive into Trout Lake, sooner rather than later, is on the books for me......

I can't give you specifics but I was in my lake yesterday near Grand Rapids with a wetsuit.  Its a bit cold on the feet at first til they go numb but its definelty swimable.  I am guessing mid to low 50s.

I actually was just curious about my OWS temp for my first tri in 3 weeks in northern Indiana.  I came across a fishing website that uses a model to predict water temps (they say 90% are within 4 degrees).  It was 59 - brrrr!  I can live with 65 but 59 is creeping a little low.  check it out:
