They would quickly change their minds if they had to run with them attached to their chest....

I don't want them attached to my chest...

As a testicular cancer survivor, I am offended. Where is Team AeroNads represented in this discussion?

uh, I think your posterboy is training for the TdF again. Didn't he win one or two of them? I heard he's kinda good.

Team Aero-boobs vs Team PFDs (personal flotation devices)

I'd have a hard time deciding which team to root for as I think they're all beautiful.

However, I have seen some evidence that PFDs can be distracting to other competitors, so perhaps we should be discussing the safety aspects?

Wow
Didnt expect all of that. I am just worried about people treating elective surgery and general anesthesia like teeth whitening or getting a bikini wax. It is your body do what you want but when things go wrong on the operating table it can be life altering or ending. Where does it stop? First it is boobs then I will be happy. Then it will be I just need a little lipo to help me get back to my "ideal" shape. Then Botox and a face lift then I will be happy. A friend of mine had implants to make her happy. One leaked they had to remove them. She had some put back in. She developed a reaction and then they had to come back out. Now she is back to where she started with scarring, nerve damage and wicked self esteem issues. That is sad. That was my point.

jldicarlo - 2009-04-30 9:44 AM I was just wondering what those who opposed boob enhancement thought about people getting reductions?

I hate my PFD's.  After I lose some weight to shrink them I am seriously going to look into a reduction because the dang things just get in the way.

Perhaps it is just something I am self-conscious about.  Perhaps it's just that my boobs don't fit my lifestyle.  Am I going to be judged for it?  I guess in the end I don't care.  I want smaller boobs and so I'm gonna do it.

For the record, I personally cannot understand why ANYONE would get implants...who the heck WANTS large boobs???

I totally agree with you!!  I went through the pre-surg stuff this winter but insurance denied me (bad insurance) based on a number that was body weight related...even though I am not obese, but muscular.  Once we get new insurance I will go through this again until I get the reduction.  I've been wanting it for 20+ years but waited until I finished with the kid thing.  Looking forward to being more aerodynamic someday!!
