I was telling people about a half marathon I raced in February with my Zoot Compression socks on, and toward the end of the race I noticed that the tightness in my calves was not anywhere as bad as it had been in previous races, and this was on a beast of a course.  The major downside I saw to this was that the socks kept in the heat BIG TIME, and around mile 9 or 10 I started to wish I hadn't worn them, as it was really starting to distract me.  For this reason, I probably wont race in them again unless the temps are just ridiculous cold.  But for recovery I think they are A+
