The LUNA Chix have a new website!  This is the link to the Seattle Triathlon team and all of our clinics and workouts this season.  It also has bios of each team member, articles about recent races and upcoming ones....and lots of other content.  By exploring the site, you can see the teams from around the country and read about the LUNA pro team as well.

Of course, I will look forward to meeting many of you this season, as well as seeing some old friends at the workouts and races.  They are free and cater to all levels from beginner to advanced.  Donations are accepted for the Breast Cancer Fund but not necessary....clinics charge a small fee which also goes to the same fund....all this info is on the site!  Feel free to PM me with any questions!

Tuesday 5/26....6:15 PM

Brick workout--Bike and Run.  Leaves Lake Sammamish State Park at 6:15. Be there or be square!  I'm the workout leader for this one (which means I am to make sure everyone has a good experience!)..... say "hi" if you show up.  There's a guest coach for some racing skills, as well....nice final tune up before the Issaquah Tri, or just a way to try a transition/brick.  The ride is about 14 miles and the run is approximately 2 miles.  Both are on the Issaquah Tri route.

It's FREE!  It's FUN!  It's non-competitive!  Do it!

Great website. Very well done and for a good cause. My wife has struggled finding training partners around here. Wish there was a local chapter.

Every Tuesday evening....6:15 PM (except for the mini-tris which are at 530).  Tomorrow's workout is a bike/run brick at Discovery Park in Seattle.  Please check the website for specifics.  I won't be there due to kindergarten graduation festivities...but should make the rest of them this summer.  It's a great place to meet others and to also get a good workout!  There is an advanced and a beginner option. And also intermediate!

It is raining today but due to let off before tonight's workout, which is a SWIM/RUN brick at Beaver Lake on the Sammamish Plateau.  This is great prep for this weekend's Beaver Lake Tri, or the Danskin, which is on Sunday.  Or just come to hang with the most fun group of gals in town.  We start at 6:15, and as always, look forward to seeing you there!
