Pre-race routine:

Nothing special - got to race site - found some friends and chatted a bit - found port-a-potty
Event warmup:

Ran about 1/4M in race flats to get the feel. Everything felt ok, did some pickups, high knees and crossover.

Comments:

I ran a smart race. I started a little slow and worked my way through the field. At 2 mile aid station (probably why i mised split) i used port-a-potty, after that it was game on. I was feeling good rolling hrouhg the 6:20's and told Lisa, I might blow up. I wasn't sure what to expect. Coming back in after about 9M, i was aggressive and pulled started looking for people to pass. Timed a couple 33 sec ahead of me and chased them down catching at about 12
What would you do differently?:

Not much - i didn't use any gel packs on the course, alternated between HEED and water at the aid stations.

Got bananna and water and jogged back to see runners finsih
