The swim was a big mess. Always running into people and could never get into a good grove. Impossible to pass and had some very fast swimmers behind me for some reason. Had a big group of swimmers in front of me.

I hate running on stones.
What would you do differently?:

Need to wide the stones off the bottom of my feet before putting my shoes on.

At the beginning of the bike at the stop light a cop had 2 cars pull out in front of me. I missed the 2nd one by about 6 inches as I locked up my brakes and slid at them. Man I was pist!!!!


I pushed hard on the bike but my legs felt great.

First 1/4 mile I was doing good then I got MAJOR side cramps. To the point that walkers where going faster then me so I started walking. After a few min. of walking I started back at my very slow job since I still had a side cramp for some reason. Around 2 miles I was feeling better and picked the pace up but I did not want to push to hard because I was afraid my side cramps would come back.

Right at 16 min at the half way turn around.

10:19 pace for the 1st half of the run.

7:35 pace for the 2nd half of the run.

side cramps suck - almost as much as traffic not being stopped (happened to me there too).

good to meet ya there.
