fgump - 2009-05-07 3:11 PM I love this one.  My oldest son and I swapping snacks at mile 17ish of my first marathon, last year.

I like this one too, just before I BQ'd, this year:

Do you have both of your arms?  Just askin'

Yep, they're there.  Hidden under arm warmers and black gloves, behind that big Copyright text...

muppetdog - 2009-05-07 8:11 PM Finally got a couple from my race this weekend that I liked (my race 3 weeks ago - TERRIBLE pix - I'm dirty/unhappy/or very weird looking in all of them). Must've been happy the rain stopped finally Trying to outsprint the guy in grey to the finish line after passing him. As I ran for the finish, everyone behind me was yelling at him “Don’t let her get away with that! You can catch her! Come on!” He didn’t catch me.

You chicked him! Awesome!

That's just cold.  A cutey like you chicking him at the last minute...

He was probably going to ask you out.  You two would have gotten married, had a nice little house by the beach, two kids and a dog named Blue.

Not anymore.

He was to embarrassed to ask you out, went home alone...  Fell into a depression and his life spiraled out of control.  Now he lives in his mom's basement delivering pizza part time.

I bet you feel pretty bad about now.  ;-)

Also got some great ones sent to me today from Wildflower, but I'd have to buy them to be able to post them

At the start of my very first multi-sport event - a duathlon.  I was so happy and naive here.  This event is called the 'frost yer fanny duathlon' for a very good reason.

...and here I am at the end of the 2nd run.  Now I'm starting to understand a little better...

I usually like my race photos for the most part, but they tend to look the same all the time.  Check out these two -- Wildflower Long 2008 and 2009!

I've got an old track photo from high school that I like quite a bit where I'm running strong at the front of a pack.  No idea where that one is right now though.

I've got a couple ok pictures.  I might have more, but our digital camera is a few years old and there is a delay between pushing the button and when the picture actually snaps, so I've got a few pictures of me either only partly in the frame or not in the frame at all... though we did get a very nice picture of a big white trailer from my last race.

This one is ok, and is from a small race last year.  I'm a little small here, but I like how I look as I am coming in with a good strong finish.  That, or I'm doing really well for a person with just one leg.

Then there's this one that I didn't buy from the race photographer.  Though it's not great, it's the best one yet of me on the bike.  This is going down a hill at the St. Paul Tri, last summer.

This one is pretty good, minus the fact that my helmet is not on straight (or my hat is tilted, whatever).

This is Pineman Olympic 2005(?) I think.

I miss that swim suit, it was AWESOME.

This is an amateur shot, from my husband. I'm grinning like an eejit for no particular reason because I had just stepped on a sliver of glass on the exit ramp but couldn't be bothered to stop. Bloody Allegheny.

I liked this one so well, I bought it. It's the only one I have ever bought out of 5 years of racing.
