I have no idea if I am even close on the time. I didn't time it, and I didn't run. Instead I walked with my friend, Lynda, who one year ago today had a lump removed from her breast and has since completed chemo and radiation treatment. There were 9 other ladies from our mommies club there as well, plus Lynda's daughter and niece. It was a nice day, sunny, but not hot. (I wore sunscreen but still got burned a little!). They did a really neat little survivors parade complete with new orleans style marching jazz band, followed by a short tribute program while all the survivors stood on a large stairway, and then they released white doves. Nice touches!
