Mavic R-SYS Wheelset

For sale: 2008 Mavic R-SYS wheel set 700/clincher/Shimano hub.

Before you ask, yes this is the wheel that was recalled by Mavic due to some posibility of the front spokes cracking (Carbon). The wheels were voluntarily recalled by Mavic and rebuilt using the new multi directional carbon spokes (as opposed to uni directional) and are brand new. Rear wheel has approximately 200 miles front is, I say again, front is brand new and still in the box.

For lateral stiffness, responsiveness and amazingly low weight, you will be hard pressed to find a better deal.

Wheels sell for 1400+ new but I'm looking for 1250 with wheelbags, new skewers, and spoke tool.

I am only selling these to recover some of the costs of my new Zipp 404s. They are awesome.
