Elite  4048   Gilbert, Az. |  Subject: East Valley folkz - Loop 101 road closure this weekendI believe the sign above the US60 said the onramp to the 101 would be closed this weekend, and that the 101 would be closed from there to Rio Salado, so if you're coming from the east side, the 202 is probably a better option. AZDOT website really sucks, btw... John |

This will impact those East Valley residents heading to the Tempe Tri this weekend. Good luck...leave early! • Northbound Loop 101/U.S. 60 and Loop 202 and U.S. 60/Northbound Loop 101 Closure: Northbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) will be closed between U.S. 60 and Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) from 11 tonight to 5 a.m. Monday for lane-striping adjustments as part of the new carpool-lane project. U.S. 60 ramps to northbound Loop 101 also will be closed. Northbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Guadalupe Road will be closed. Westbound U.S. 60 on-ramp at Alma School Road will be closed. |
