Thanks for the encouraging words Jonah. Yes I did have a full wetsuit on. I had rented it from Quadmultisport. It would have been way too cold for me to even get in the water without it. The wetsuit did help a bit, but like you mentioned, I just need to get out there and practice in the open water.


me too!  I really want to sign up for another Tri soon, but I think I'd be rushing it until I get some more OWS practice. Keep us posted on your progress, and please share any tips, as you learn.  I can definitely use all the help I can get.

Just got an email from them about the July session -- looks like there were a few cancellations and there's an opening for you if you can still make it on July 10th.
