Ladies, what do you do with your hair for the swim? i have long hair. Pony? Peel off the thing that makes me look like a black Michelan Man. Socks, Shoes, Chap Stick, Belt, Glasses, Helmet, GO! (I'm studying) Hey Susan, put your hair in a pony with clips for the bangs if you need it. When finished with the swim your hair should be ok for your bike helmet. I'm just guessing, this is my first also and am nervouse and excited. See you in the morning. Am I missing anything? Susan
Karen Just make sure it's a lower ponytail- think about where your bike helmet comes down to. I made that mistake on my first race, and had to mess around with my ponytail to re-adjust it under my helmet. |

So I just hung around with my friend and teammates from Team In Training!I had a great experience though! Even if my swim leg epitomized the phrase 'epic fail'!!!! LOL I learned a LOT though. I wish I could do his tri again next week!!!!! Anyways...hopefully I'll get a chance to meet some of you folks soon. The weekday workouts pretty much don't work for me...and I have the Ann Arbor tri coming up this weekend. But maybe next weekend! |

I am going to use your quote about the missing banner to try to convince the owner that one banner will not work for three teams (the mtn bike team had it this weekend). In any case, look for the bright blue tent with KHS in yellow on it. Or, follow a team member around. We are hard to miss in our snazzy black tri jerseys. |

Thanks to Kristen and the Greyhounds for letting George and I hang out at their tents. The changing tent was great! I so appreciate all the kind words of encourangement from all of you!
