I've been having trouble keeping my feet awake on longer rides. I picked up some specialized insoles today on the recommendation of the LBS. Does anyone use these? How'd they work for you?

I will report back after a few rides!

Here's a link to read about them:

I have superfeet blues in my bike shoes. Got them from the running store after visiting a couple bike shops. They said they would provide more support than any of the bike shoe insoles and so far they've been much more comfortable. I'd be interested to see how the Specialized ones work out for you.

Yeah, the LBS gave me the green one's. They are "significant support" version. I've never been told I have a high arch so I may exchange them for the blue one's. Hard to tell.

I use the green ones with a varus(sp?) wedge in my left shoe.  My bike fitter set me up.  No hot spots, no pain, no foot sleeping.

I thought feet falling asleep on the bike was good because they are resting for the run?

just kidding, I am getting a new pair of cycling shoes and will get a set of insoles for them. I have started working bigger gears trying to gain power and I can really feel the lack of support during those hammer sessions. Right now my shoes don't even have the insole in them since I didn't really notice they were too small until after I had a wreck in them and scuffed the pudding out of them.
