Hi,

Anyone got a link to cav's comments after Stage 11. I'm still in the dark.

Ignatiev doesn't harf get himself into a lot of breaks.

Hi,

Anyone got a link to cav's comments after Stage 11. I'm still in the dark.

Here's the quote:

"He is an incredibly nice guy and it is a shame to say he is not a super good sprinter," Cavendish told Cyclingnews after his win in Arenzano. "I don't think he is at the level of me or [Alessandro] Petacchi."

Taken from here.

He's the Giro's equivalent of Sylvian Chavanel

Thanks Jens. Cocky little git, but he can back it up.

BTW is this where you are getting your inside info from, or are you a secret 24hour time traveller? Can't just be LUCK But I'm not going to say 'Skill'. Definitely something dodgy going on with your picks. Maybe being too conservative is paying off

Ha. Stuff that Jens. Talk about Cav pulling out after today's stage. Keep your hands off Petacchi with future predictions.

That was cool!  A Garmin/Slipstream guy brought up nutrition to the guys leading the train...and wanted to get in the train, but it was wheel to wheel. So he gets in next to a guy, puts his hand on the guy's lower back, and SHOVE forward...instant gap in the train, he slots right in. Voila!

It's so completely cool to see these guys go that fast in close quarters. Skillz aplenty.

Other: I like the aesthetics of Schroder's Focus bike. That's sporty.

I've got a Focus and I've got a very good friend called Bjorn Schroeder. What does that mean?

Sadly my Focus hasn't got the bling Lightweight wheels that Herr Schroeder has

They will catch Schroder TOO quickly. This should make for fine drama.

On holiday with Charlie

I think the only way to beat Cav is to go for a long one like Hausler did in San-Remo. At least he got close to beating him.

I predict...on the podium, he'll take an extra long drink of the Champagne, french kiss the girls, and shake the Directeur's hand while whispering "I withdraw" in his ear.   See you in France, Cav.

Cav quote of the day from the BBC website

Cavendish thanked team-mate Mark Renshaw for setting him up for the final sprint.

"I got another perfect lead out from my team-mates," he said.

"They spent a lot of time in the wind and did such a good job that I didn't have to go flat out. I was 80 percent."

But the rumor is now that he will pull out instead of ride the mountains

Furthering his douche quotient. Even if it's true, the world doen't like a sore winner.

Hoping someone, or something, goes all Hindenburg on his ego.
