I'm hoping all my hill workouts pay off in this race.  Can't wait to get up there and see the course.  Would like to ride it on sat.  Nervous though that if would wear me out on race day.

Ride it easy and it shouldn't wear you out.  But last year I just drove it the day before--mostly helps on the steep downhills where you can't see where they go or to know that a sharp turn immediately puts you on a steep incline.

Looks like it going to be a beautiful day Sunday.  Now that training is done for this race was wondering what everyone is hoping there race report will look like Monday.

For me I will be happy with a swim of under 15 minutes.  My ideal goal is to make it in 13:50.
The bike I will be happy if i finish in under a 1 hour and 8 minutes.  My ideal goal is to finish in a hour.
The run I will be happy with 26 minutes. My ideal time would be under 25 minutes.

Add 4 minutes for my transition times and I will be happy with a time of 1hour 53 minutes.  With the hope of a time of 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Anyone else want to write there predictions for the race. Would love to read them.

Good Luck Sunday

I'm hoping to break 1:40. Might be a little ambitious, but that's the goal. The bike is definitely brutal and Jefferson (near the end) will really test you. As for times, I'd like to do the swim in the 12min neeighborhood and hopefully the run somewhere around 20. Who knows?! All in all, jsut looking forward to seeing where I'm at.

I'll be driving the course on Saturday just to refresh my memory.  I did the sprint last year and half in '07.

I was just under 1:32 last year.  Hope to do 1:28ish this year.

I was pretty happy with my finish. Never could get myself to really drop the hammer, but I finished in 1:33:xx. With my initial goal of breaking 1:40, I'll take it! Pretty cool being in the first wave. Sure makes the race feel different.

That is one tough course!!!

I did the half - the last climb that they threw in on the second loop was brutal. I noticed 4.6 mph on my odometer. After hitting 45+ on some of the other downhills. My body is aching today.

Finished 143 out of 331 with a time of 1:52:44. I t was my first tri so i am happy with it.  i will also post race report later when I get my thought together.  My excitement for the day was when I hit 50 plus on the big downhill on the front side of the bicycle leg. My speedo says 60.3 but I believe it is off a little bit because the total mileage for the sprint was 18.2.

1:36 for me... happy with it, but I just felt so sluggish on the bike. I'll write a report (prob in more detail than anyone would ever want to read)!
