In a couple of weeks I'll be spending a week at the Orange Lake resort in Orlando. It's on 192 between I4 and US27. I was thinking of bringing my bike. Does anyone know any good low traffic routes in that area?

I live a few miles from there.  When you leave Orange Lake, head towards Rt 27.  Before you get there, there is a road (rt 545)  You can ride that north for about 15 miles.  When you get to Stoneybrook, make a right.  Take that to 535.  Make a right onto 535 and head back towards Disney.  From there there are a couple routes....how many miles are you looking to ride?  If you want the bike trail...then drive up 545 to Colonial (hwy 50), make a left and go about 2.5 miles to Killarney station to park the car and hop on the trail.  If you head west on the trail, it's a scenic route with hill.  If you go east on the trail....it's through some housing communities for about 18 miles.

Probably looking at 20-30 miles for a ride. That's probably about all I can knock out and still return before most of the family is up and about. The number one goal for the week is to relax and spend time with my family. If I can sneak in a couple of early morning rides that would be super.
