Count me in for 2010!!! I had a blast last year and the year before!! This is one of my favorite races each year!

This is going to be my first tri ever.  Went to it a couple years back to support a friend - so I've seen the site and the course, and I'm really excited for it...  Only 5 short months left...

Just got word that the 7th Annual Give Peace A Tri will be July 14th 2012! This is gonna be my first tri and I am super duper psyched!

For those who have done this event: did people tend to wear wetsuits or is the lake warm enough in July to go without?

I did it in 2009 (I think) and there was a mix of shorty suits, tri suits, and swim suits. It is a GREAT first tri so there isn't a lot of super slick gear (though you'll see tricked out tri bikes as well). I get very, very cold - Reynaud's Disease - and I was perfectly fine in a tri top and bottom set. My guess is that, unless the weather takes a serious turn, you'll be plenty warm enough in a swim suit.

Just signed up for Give Peace A Tri 2013. Psyched to rock it this year...no flats this time!
