I didn't vote because none of the options apply to me.

I miss my XMIL, she was the best thing (other than my boys) from my first marriage.  We don't have any contact at all, she sees the boys when they are with their Dad.  There is no reason for us to communicate or see each other and I miss her.  She will tell my boys to tell me hi and the couple of times I have seen her (shortly after divorce) we chatted so I think she misses me too.
Ok, I voted after I created my own category

Still very close to the ex mother in law.  Losing his family was way worse than losing him.

I didn't vote because I've never been married; however, I work for my ex-gf's father. We are cool. We play golf together and he tells me to pick up the cart girl. He also told me to never trust his daughter during the 1st month of our relationship. Her parents loved me and I loved them too. I actually took a lot of drama and crud because of how much I cared for her parents.

I miss my brother's ex, does that count? Actually, she is coming to visit me in about a week. Haven't seen her in about 4 years.

Only time I've even seen or talked to them is when they show up at my daughter's events.

All of my ex's ( gf's and wifes) parents liked me even afterward EXCEPT my ex witch-in law. She is the spawn of Satan and its sad to see my own daughter has figured out that shes just not a nice person.

Not ex-inlaws per say, but close enough in my case. I have very cordial relationships with my daughters grandparents. They all still like me, and will call me up and ask if they can have her to take her to a wedding, event, etc.  I can also call them up and ask if they can babysit. We do not hang out or chit-chat much, really just when it deals with my daughter.

My former MIL just extended a peace offering after a year and a half. I was pretty bummed when that relationship ended because we had worked so hard to make it work (unlike my marriage...). However, she responded exactly as I thought she would: I believe my ex's exact words were, "You know my whole family hates you now." Gee, thanks.

We weren't married, but my ex-BF's step mother was FREAKIN NUTS.  Talk about mood swings.  That woman actually made me cry...twice!  At Christmas!

His biological mother was a train wreck too.  Only person I really liked was his father, but I don't expect to see any of them again and it won't bother me a bit.

I don't talk to my ex-mother in law... but I do stay in LIGHT contact with my ex-bro in law. He and I send emails... he even followed me on the day of my IM... and has donated to my recent swim.

The rule is though, that when we do talk... he doesn't talk about his bro/my ex. That rule has worked out great for 5 years.
