Swim
Comments: My watch had 45min but I know it took me a min or two to step on the matt. What would you do differently?: I will not take benadryl the night before a race. I felt sluggish in the water and our of energy. I had to go on my back 10 min. into swim. I finally got a rhythm half way through. Also I keept drafting the wrong people. I went way off course twice. I got kicked and elbowed at the start so I need to remember to get in the back. Lube new wetsuit, I could feel my wetsuit rubbing my neck after 5min. I knew I would be chaffed afterwords and I was. Transition 1
Comments: I took my time since I knew I was not running. I forgot my clear cycling glasses in the car. What would you do differently?: double check my list before I leave the car. Bike
Comments: Dang rain, but the good side is it helps me with not getting carried away and forces me to slow down. I did not taper and was using this event as training. I kept my HR low to med so this was my goal and no cramping. I ate 2 octane gels and one luna bar, thnx MJ. My own mix of heed and water. I grabbed a heed at one of the stations but the mix was to strong. I stopped at the next station and grabbed water and mix it with the heed until I felt it was drinkable. That cost me a min or two. I knew I was training and was not focused on going fast. Transition 2

After an email and a phone call I got a reply from the timing folks. There response was they only post finishers. I have noticed other races where DNF are posted but at least I got a response.
