Subject: Long run crash and burn this AM! What' next?? Folks, I had this one coming. Next week is my peak week of my 20 week program. This week I have been feeling tired, but my workouts were good until this AM. I was supposed to do a 3 hour RPE 3 steady state run. I turned around about 30 minutes into it as I just could not go. My HR was low but I was dizzy and felt like I had a pretty good buzz on. Alcohol was not a factor. I returned home showered and went back to sleep until 7:22 AM. I am scheduled to swin 1:15 and run 1:00 tomorrow with Saturday off then 6H ride follwed by 20 minute run Sunday. Should I take tomorrow and Saturday off or pick up the plan where I left off? I feel OK today not great, but I think I could go tomorrow AM. Kevin |
