Excellent! And that was one smoking fast swim!

I doubt that too few calories limited your ability to perform. 90 minutes of racing time is really not long enough to deplete you (unless you hadn't eaten in the past day or so). Especially if you ate Shot Blocks on the bike. IMHO, the major limiter is fitness, which, obviously will come with continued training.
