Ooh fun thread! My staples for my once-every-two-weeks shopping trip:

Red onion
Green/red bell pepper
Zucchini (this is fairly new for me)
Baby carrots
Cherry or Roma tomatoes
Brown or white mushrooms
Strawberries/nectarines/plums (seasonal)
Grapefruit
Grapes
Larabars
Naked brand smoothies
Almond milk or chocolate soy milk
Pasta (gluten free)
Rice crust cheese pizza
Bagels (gluten free)
Brown basmati rice
Natural peanut butter
Black beans
Chickpeas
Corn tortillas
Shredded cheese of some kind depending on the menu

Depending on the menu I will pick up other stuff like if it's Mexican I'll do green chilies and enchilada sauce, or Italian I'll pick up some basil pesto and parm cheese.

I go in spurts with salads. If I'm on a salad kick I'll pick up baby spinach leaves and sprouts, but I rarely use all of it before it goes bad so I've been cutting back on that.

Other things I have spurts with are hummus, tofu, orange juice, corn chips and salsa, and cereal.

salad (2 or 3 different types)
onions
fresh veggies (brocalli, cauliflower, organic carrots, squash, zucchini, snap peas, green beans, peppers, onions, organic potatoes)
fresh fruits (organic berries and apples, grapes, bannanas, organic pears)
yogurt (all natural from trader joes)
lots of cereal
oatmeal
dried fruit
canned tomatoes
frozen corn
soy milk
snacks from trader joe's
milk (hormones)
free range eggs
cheese
basically if it's not double or more the price, I try to go organic.

Just the main staples...depends on what's on the menu and how busy we are that week. I only really go to the grocery store once every 2 or 3 weeks but go every week for fresh stuff. I do shop at 3 chains though: Aldi, Trader Joe's and a local family owned chain.

Salad ingredients
blackberries
blueberries
strawberries
bananas
oranges
apples
naked brand smoothies
pomegranate juice
orange juice
cranberry juice
jasmine rice
basmati rice
brown rice
whole wheat pasta
whole grain Tostitos
ingredients for homemade salsa
assorted nuts
dried fruit
mcann's steel cut irish oats
bear naked granola
yoplait light n fit yogurt
perdue boneless skinless chicken breast
ground turkey
assorted fish: tillapia, salmon, dolphin

These are my main staples, I haven't really started eating anything new or exciting lately hence the post, except for quinoa, which I haven't yet decided if I like, or completely loathe.

So there is my list, Im sure I forgot some things but overall I think I remembered  most of the main staples

C'mon fellow BT'ers bring out your lists!!

I guess I should also keep it fair and add a few bad staples which unfortunately seem to keep finding their way into my grocery cart

Frozen pizzas
Kraft mac n cheese
peanut M&M's
ben n jerry's heath bar ice cream
chips
The occasional candy bar from the cash register area, damn the grocery store and their effective product placement!!

I love food! Luckily, I get most of my produce from a local farm now but here is what I buy for myself on a regular basis:
bacon (I eat this almost every day!)
eggs (ditto)
shrimp
bison burgers
chicken breast
coconut milk
almonds
walnuts
pecans
dried fruit
dark chocolate
kale - love love
zucchini
bell peppers
grape tomatoes
scallions
beets
spinach
strawberries
blueberries
pomegranate seeds
cherries
grapes
peaches

I used to do Jay Robb protein powder a lot but not so much anymore. And I used to eat a lot of tuna fish, too, but not lately. Things I don't buy: grains and processed food although I do love me some ice cream!!
