My RR is up as well. I was a DNF, but writing this up made me feel a little better.

I have been trying to track it down.  Sent a few emails and will post the info if i receive any response.  They should have it somewhere.

I wish I could thank the person who made the poster on the run course that said "pain is temporary, pride is forever".

It helped.

My wife had one on the bike course -- right at the elementary school after the left hander turn in Ivins. She had some good ones this year. The one she didn't put up on the run that I begged her too:

"You run marathons? How cute..."

I thought people would get that it was a pat on the mack to 140.6'ers, but she didn't after she put it together.

If you're talking about the finish line video of yourself finishing, unfortunately they don't do that anymore.  Big downer.

That is a big downer.  So they have this video out there and they do not make it available for anyone?  You would think there would be a pretty big demand for it.  If people are buying pics for the prices they charge, you would think they would buy the video.  I would.  Too bad.

First timer success at 15:53XX!

I had a great time at this race! My nutrition plan worked great and I now know you can successfully train 95% indoors for a hilly race.  It was a little slower than my goal but once I got to the point where I knew I would finish, even if I walked the rest of the run, I relaxed and started chatting people up. Ran some/walked some and crossed the line upright and smiling. I beat my swim goal, and did the bike with something left in my legs. I loved the bike leg actually. I can't wait to do another IM.

It might be awhile for my RR, as I am still on vacation until 5/16.

Just a week after rocking IMSG I did the Gulf Coast Half with a group of buddies just as a fun time race. But while I was doing it, I was thinking about St George and came to a conclusion:
IM Florida = BORING!
I would do IMSG over and over before ever doing one IMFlorida! No thanks!

Congrats again all of you IMSG finishers!

Does anyone know about when the registration closed last year? I'm considering signing up, but I'm still on the fence.

I'd like to do an early IM next year, but I really want Lake Placid!

Thanks for any info,

Doug
