So this race may be a little way out still, but that's no reason not to figure out what other BT'ers will be at this race.

I just signed up today.

I sure hope it's not sold out... I'm planning on doing it, but HATE DNS's, so I'll wait to register til I'm absolutely sure my shin splints aren't gonna stop me from doing this again

I'm also doing the sprint.  My friend andigurl told me about this race, but said the course has quite the climbs.  The winning times last year had bike speeds at 16ish mph?  That's crazy!  I'm used to much more flat areas and faster speeds.  So I think this will be very challenging and so much fun.

I am either doing this or Slverman half.   Did Pumpkinman half last year, great and challenging course.

There are quite a few climbs for sure and the last is a killer.  Run isn't bad though.

Wow, this was crazy!  I had a great time, wish I would have met some other BT'ers out here.  Great and challenging course.  Hope you all did well and had as much fun as I did!

Interesting results for the half, compared to last year, when it was the Halfmax Championships.... I shoulda done it this year (and would have) Only 75 people or so for the half. Hope it survives, it's a good race

My training partner volunteered this year and said that is seemed rather empty compared to years past.  She didn't know if it was the economy, but participation seemed very low.  Maybe it's too close to Silverman.
