Just started training.

My decision to compete in a Tri occurred about two months ago. That decision occured while running to prepare for my hiking trip to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. That was an awsome vacation.  I did feel a little funny talking to the Park Rangers about how hard the trip out of the canyon was. They would give me that false understanding smile. I could read their minds; "I do it everyday you Wuss!!!!"

As for my build and physical condition,  5'6" 182.  That about says it all. I guess to many nachos too few miles.

Where are you located in TX?  I'm in Austin.

Welcome to BT. I'm in Houston, or should I say just south of Houston.

I am presently living in Mexia but could be in any of the major cities in Texas or surrounding states before the end of the year. Training racehorses does not allow long term housing commitments.
