Event warmup:

Stretch
Swim
  • 20m 18s
  • 984 yards
  • 02m 04s / 100 yards
Comments:

Felt pretty good. Took the swim nice and easy.
What would you do differently?:

Start closer to the front. I think my swimming is better then most people that are in the tri. I find myself going towards the back of the pack top start and then have a hard time getting a rythem because I am runnign into so many people that are slower than I am. I probably finished middle of my wave but caught people 2 waves ahead(5 mins between each wave). And no one from thewave behind me caught up to me.
Transition 1
  • 03m 51s
Comments:

Work on leaving shoes on bike!
What would you do differently?:

Switch to different riding shoes and leave them on the bike.
Bike
  • 52m 39s
  • 14.91 miles
  • 16.99 mile/hr
Comments:

Felt a lot better on this ride. Kept cadence somewhat high. Got penalized 2:00 for blocking? not really sure what that is.
What would you do differently?:

Train more outside.
Transition 2
  • 01m 59s
Comments:

Long run from dismount to rack. Again I do not like to run in the Look Clips that I have for my pedals.
What would you do differently?:

Get new shoes. Or learn to keep shoes on bike.
Run
  • 26m 29s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 08m 31s  min/mile
Comments:

Felt good. Started to crap a little in my calves in the beginning. Pushed through. Had a good kick at the last 1/2 mile.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing really. Continue to train 2 time a week.
Post race
Warm down:

Stretched. Eat a little.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not enough pre-race carb/juice.

Event comments:

I liked this race. The expo was fantastic, the event was fun and the people were great.
