Swim
Comments: This swim was good except so many people bunched together made it feel like we were cramped on top of each other. This lasted half way through the swim and especially around the bouy. After that, the swim opened up a bit. This was my first ows tri. What would you do differently?: Be more agressive at the start and during the first half of the swim. Transition 1
Comments: T1 went well. What would you do differently?: Add more body glide to ankles. Bike
Comments: I really enjoyed this bike segment. It was challenging but a lot of fun. What would you do differently?: Push it even harder. Transition 2
Comments: T2 also went well. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Run
Comments: I held back on the run but I enjoyed it a lot. What would you do differently?: Push myself harder, I can run this a lot faster. Post race
Warm down: Drank water, showered, talked to other racers,drove home. What limited your ability to perform faster: I need to be more agressive on the swim start and I need to push it on the run. Event comments: I loved this race and I think it was super for my first OWS tri. I talked to a few other racers who also really like the Rocky Gap triathlon. I will definitely do it again next year.
