Family leaves for CA on 7/11. You do it on the 12th and I'm up for whatever epic training day you want to smack me down with.

I was actually planning on going up on Saturday 7/11, and getting started at around 5:30 in the water, before the boaters get going - followed by a bike ride.  Just one option...

I may be in for a training day on 7/11. I am doing the Chino Valley tri on 7/12 as a tune-up race for Vineman on 7/19, but will still need to get a good training day in on Saturday the 11th.  I may even be able to drag Dean over to the west side, depending on what his training plan says...

I should be in for the swim on 7/11 - however, do you think I can pull off those hills and stay in Zone 1/2?  It is supposed to be a recovery bike ride for me that day - I could always ride araound in the parking lot till you all got back!

This is sounding like another fun get together.  I have to get my hill repeats in anyway.  Is it still a 5:30 start swim time?

What time do you all think you will start the bike? I don't know if I would be able to make it out by 530 to get the swim in. And would you all be meeting in the same place that the Tribal Sprint started and do I buy the parking pass at the same place (the entrance)?

Start time for the swim is still planned for 5:30.  I expect we'll get on the bikes at around 6:30 or so...

-Take the “Castle Hot Springs” rd…..which is the second entrance to the lake…not the harbor entrance road…

-Head north on castle hot springs rd

-you will come up to the 1st entrance which is on your right…this is not it!

-Continue driving north until you come to a stop sign….take a right

-There may or may not be a ranger at this station, but a few feet after passing the guard shack you will see a self pay box…it’s your call…$5.00 cash

NOT at the Pleasant Harbor. We meet up at the smaller 4 lane boat ramp on the north west side of the lake. Follow Chad's (Slidell4life) directions and you can't miss us! Hope to see you for the swim, I am always looking for bodies that I can hold onto and get a "tow" from.

Hi,

This would be my first group training thing to join in on...  I'm supposed to do a long run later in the day so I'll probably skip the bike afterward, but I'm always up for a good morning swim.  What kind of distance, just out of curiosity?  I think I might just give it a go.
