Pre-race routine:

Woke up because my baby woke me up! One hour before the planned time. I had toasts and some "mate".
Event warmup:

Just walked around lazy with my wife, my son and my baby daughter.
Swim
  • 26m 37s
  • 1640 yards
  • 01m 37s / 100 yards
Comments:

A good swim, good sighting, almost no drafting but there wasn't too many folks around me.
What would you do differently?:

Push the pace more towards the end, I had strengths left in me.
Transition 1
  • 01m 11s
Comments:

I chose to put the shoes on the bike and put them on while riding, I waited too long and I was already going too fast, swerving all over and being a danger to all my fellow triathletes.
What would you do differently?:

Put the shoes on as soon as I get on the bike.
Bike
  • 1h 12m 40s
  • 24.55 miles
  • 20.27 mile/hr
Comments:

Didn't really enjoy the ride that much nor the course, I guess the conditions distorted my perception as well.
What would you do differently?:

Come back on a sunny day? hehe.
Transition 2
  • 00m 54s
Comments:

One of my shoes blew off the bike when I stepped off, got it and kept going. The rest of the transition was smooth and very fast.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.
Run
  • 51m 4s
  • 6.22 miles
  • 08m 13s  min/mile
Comments:

A pitiful run, about six and a half minutes slower than my best 10k time. By looking at the splits I can tell that fatigue whooped me badly as the race progressed.
What would you do differently?:

Pace the bike better, and admit that it was going to be a bad day for cycling.
Post race
Warm down:

Nothing in particular, ate a couple of oranges and drank a lot of water.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Bad weather.

Event comments:

Kind of a bittersweet taste in my mouth, because I was shooting for a 2:30'00" race and I really put everything out to do it. Even though I PR'd, I didn't feel the "great race" feeling that I enjoy so much.

Avg. HR was 154, Max reached 165BPM.
Wind: Little
Course: Little "rolling hills" very light, the only bad thing was the wet pavement, increased the rolling resistance so the bike felt heavy and I'm kind of a chicken turning corners on wet pavement. It was a very slow bike split, also, I tried to speed up in the straight portions, that blew my legs for the run.
