Subject: Personal Milestone

Hello,

Sorry but had to tell some like-minded people about my achievement today:

I have been running the same route (2.25 miles) 3-4 times per week for a couple of months and started with a time of 21.16 this has gradually dropped to 19.XX to 18.XX to 17.XX but I just couldn’t get under 17 minutes for the run.

BUT today I managed 16.37 which I am so pleased about and the timing is great as I have a du and a tri in the next 3 weeks.

It also means I managed to go under 7:30p/mile which I can’t believe as I started out running 9:30-10.00 p/mins

Thanks for listening.

Rob

Congrats!  That is great improvement.  You are now at the point to mix in some longer runs with up tempo and interval work.  That will really get you going!  Just remember to not try to do to much too fast, and remember your rest days!
