Sorry but had to tell some like-minded people about my achievement today:
I have been running the same route (2.25 miles) 3-4 times per week for a couple of months and started with a time of 21.16 this has gradually dropped to 19.XX to 18.XX to 17.XX but I just couldn’t get under 17 minutes for the run. BUT today I managed 16.37 which I am so pleased about and the timing is great as I have a du and a tri in the next 3 weeks. It also means I managed to go under 7:30p/mile which I can’t believe as I started out running 9:30-10.00 p/mins Thanks for listening. Rob |
