I could never keep up with you but would be happy to offer any other advice for the area that I can.  I work in Boulder and will be moving back to the area in a few weeks (I'm in south Denver now).  I've lived up in the area in the past so I'm pretty familiar.

No help with training partners since I'm down in the Springs (uh.. that's local talk for Colorado Springs) but just wanted to say welcome to Colorado!

I think there is a tri club in the Boulder area. I know that Rocky Mtn Tri Club is around there (maybe more in Denver) and is very active.

I'm in Denver, but ride a lot in Boulder, mostly on the weekend. Lots of great climbing out in that area. I'm not racing much this season, but still try to log some mileage. People usually post ride invites on this board, so that's one way to latch on to some wheels. Then again, you're in Boulder. I'm sure if you step outside your door, you'll find someone biking, running, cartwheeling, skipping, etc w/in 2.4 seconds.

I'm in Louisville and am willing to ride but have three small boys so do most of my rides in the early AM.  I sometimes post my weekend rides here when I want/need company...I'll keep you in mind.

Check out Left Hand/James Canyons yet? There are some brutal sections near the tops. Peak to Peak highway is also highly recommended. Rollers, but they're not your Midwest rollers . If you really want to hurt, try out Magnolia. Makes climbing Lookout Mtn in Golden seem like a Time Trial.

BTW - Welcome to the great Front Range.

I do most of my biking with a group on meetup.com (http://www.meetup.com/Denver-and-Front-Range-Cycling/ ).  All different levels of riders show up, and the core group loves to climb, but everyone is always very welcoming.  It's a mixed group, some just like to ride, some training for rides like E-Rock, the Triple, RAAM, and a few other triathletes.

There's a number of running groups on meetup too. I'm closer to Denver so I'm typically running with groups in that area (often bike to the running group, run and then bike home).

I'm not much help on the swimming side though, I tend to do that pretty solo, but I'm sure there's a number of Masters practices in your area, Boulder is the mecca for endurance athletes.
