Inspiring to see many people riding extra miles yesterday, some in adverse weather conditions, to meet their challenge goals!

Please let me know if there are any omissions or errors.

Thanks for the motivation! I just set my personal record for most cycling miles in one month... Now must work on beating it.

Hope your century today goes/went well.

Geeezzzzzz, Bear. You rode more than I drove during April!

So, what's the deal? How do I get in on this for May? Do I get handicap points for the fact that my bike is trying to kill me? This morning it assaulted me by falling on my head while it was on the roof rack and I was standing by the car, looking down, fiddling with the computer. I want points!

Thanks for the motivation bear & kim!  I might have sat on my trainer last weekend, but because of the challenge I got out on the road in the rain and then the cold.  Learned that with the right gear it's not so bad--and a lot better than spending hours on end on the trainer!

Well, the snow in Colorado got to me the last week, so I'm one ride short of meeting my 200 miles   But I still rode 75% more in April than I did in March, and I've already ridden more miles this year so far than I did in all of 2004, so I'm happy anyhow!!  Thanks Kim and Bear for the motivation.  I'm going for 220 in the month of May...

Bear & Kim,

Thanks for putting this challenge together.  It motivated me to ride some extra miles.  I "broke" from my training plan and rode extra to make sure I'd complete the challenge.  Woo Hoo, I made it.

Congratulations everyone. I`d also like to thank the bear and Kim for setting up this challenge, there is no way I would have been on my bike this much without the motivation.

I`m in for May also! (250 miles is my initial goal- or Swim lots Challenge?)

Snow knocked me out too. But I am sooo glad that kim and bear had this challenge. It rocked. I biked almost ten times as much as I did last month. I'm going for an actual 200 miles outside in May. Thanks bear. O.

Sorry for the grousing earlier.  It was a great challenge that doubled my mileage from March, and put me back close to the 300 miles a month I was averaging when I just rode for fitness.

Thanks to all who helped track this and to Bear and Kim for letting us tag along with their challenge!  I'm definitely in for another one!

Thanks Kim! Thanks Bear! 150 miles completed in 3 weeks. Never thought I could do that distance. All the thread discussions kept me focus. And while the rain was coming down harder and harder as I rode around the lake on Saturday, I knew there were 40+ other BTers in the saddle doing the same!!

Thanks again. And Yes I would be interested in a challenge for May (swim, bike, or run)

Rain and cold kept me from meeting my goal for April.  I have only had the mileage in this challenge on a road bike in almost 20 years.  So I am still a little apprehensive of riding it in the rain.  However I am going to set myself a goal of 50 miles per week for May.  I might not make this goal either, but I am sure going to give it my best.  Thanks for the encouragement of the challenge.

Well, I didn't make my goal, but I did set a pretty lofty one for myself.

I did manage to ride more in the month than I've ever ridden before, so while I fell short, by aiming so high, I *still* outdid myself. Considering a rest week and a race weekend were in there, I didn't do too badly.

Thanks Bear and Kim for motivating all of us!

I failed, put my name on the alternates plaque. The excuses are many, work, ER, wife, kids, etc. But the reality is that I failed.

I want to thank Kim and Bear for the motivation. I have set a PR of 23+ miles at over 15+ mph because of you all. Don't laugh it kicked my but...

Sign me up for the next one and I will do a 30+ . You bike Gods rule...
