Subject: RE: (finally) tired of sodasHow about iced tea, fruit juice or just plain bottled water. Normally I'm againts bottled water but when you need it, you need it. There should be some vending machine around the university you attend. How about chocolate milk, latté, coffee or even herbal tea. I know, a whole day's worth of liquid is something to carry around. But you carry some of it in a cooler bag that you can put in your locker. Obviously those things cost money and tap water was the cheepest choice on a tight student budget. But your health is your best choice. I carry water from home because at work the water cooler was not cared for. It was giving me stomack spasms every evening until I stop drinking from it. Ok I have an irritable colon (is that the proper english term? ). I talk to my boss who found out the water cooler was not cleaned frequently enough. Changes have been made, but I still carry at least a bottle of water with me. So maybe you should talk about it with other students and then ask the university administration if something can be done about it. And maybe see a doc to know if you have a condition.
