Swim
Comments: So the swim was completely traumatic!! I forgot to change out my goggles so the lenses had a slight tint to them (not good at all), the water was choppy, I got lost several times, I swallowed half of the Atlantic, and was kicked in the face 3 times. To be honest it was probably in top 10 worst experiences in my life!! What would you do differently?: Im not sure what I would do differently. Transition 1

I woke up race morning at 3 am to make sure I had enough time to get ready to take the shuttle. Pre race routine included:
1. Hot Shower
2. Baggel, Ensure, Banana, Peanut Butter
3. Took Mega Man Vitamins
4. Checked packing list
5. Got my butt on the bus
When we arrived at Roger Wheeler State Park I immedately unpacked my gear and set up my transition area. The weather was not nice at all!!! I completely caught by surprise...considering we just moved from Hawaii. The only warmy up I could muster was running in and out of the surf. To be honest it probably was a complete waste of time because it totally made me tired and miserable!!!
