Run
Comments: Just kept is fairly moderate to hard. My time was 1 second faster than last year. Transition 1
Comments: It did not seem like I took this long, but I did get slowed some by some heavy traffic. Bike
Comments: I am a little disappointed in the bike. I thought I pushed it harder than last year but came up 0:27 seconds slower. Last years event was 30 days later in the year though. Transition 2
Comments: Again, I felt like I took less time than this. I messed up jumping off the bike due to a shoe wedged agains the road. Run
Comments: I tried to run kind of hard and steady. I think I could/should have pushed it a bit harder. The run pace was just a bit slower than last year, but who know since the course was changed. What would you do differently?: Push it more. Post race
Warm down: Nothing. What limited your ability to perform faster: As always, training. Also should have got to the course sooner. Event comments: Again, same as last year, the dude volunteers as the 1 mile run station spent their time joking around and never had drinks ready to hand out. Last updated: 2009-02-17 12:00 AM

Got to the event late.
I was literally running to the line when Jeff said 10 seconds to go. I took of my overshirt and zipped up the skin suit and the zipper assembly popped off so it could not be zipped up. I ran to my wife to get my shirt back and Jeff said go. I ran 20 feet back to the start line and put my shirt back on as I ran. No warm up other than to run to the car and back to the line just before the start.
