Only $20?! I could leave home at 5:30, arrive and arrive at 7. I'd be cutting it close for packet pick up, but for $20 it would be a great tune up race. I could leave at 5 just in case parking is tough. Maybe I'll invite a friend to do a relay. Usually it's so expensive to do a relay.

I've been thinking about Lake Royale. That would give me 3 races in 4 weeks to finish out my season.

I did Washington last year, as a sprint. They changed it to an oly this year, which I think is great because there just aren't enough oly races. It was a super race venue. Calm clean swim, flat and fast bike and run. FS puts on a great race. I can't do it this year, tho, just because it's too close to Bandits.

I will try to find out that information inthe next couple of days, not sure why it hasn't been updated but I am pretty sure all the information has been finalized....

I did the Mayo Lake bike course yesterday. See the course here:
http://www.fsseries.com/uploads/772009154047_Mayo%20Lake%20Race%20Maps.pdf

A good 14+ mile course overall, with some gnarly hills that remind me of the Triangle Tri when it was at Crabtree.

One of the roads is really nasty, very rough, while the rest are nice and smooth. The rough road (you can see it on the map) is 'Street Store Road'. Especially at first, there is what would be a gorgeous fast downhill, really steep, but it is made quite harrowing by the uneven repaved spots and roughness of the other parts so you have to be really careful.

That was only about a half mile, though. Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up.

Hope you all can make it!
