Looking for some help.
I am 6'6" about 250 with an athletic build i have a 40" waist and a 34" inseam (long torso).

Anyway I am doing my first tri and I am looking for a pair of tri shorts that will fit well.  Any guys close to my height/size have any suggestions.  I tried on some skU and they seemed ok.  Any other brand suggestions or online stores?

Lastly, how tight are these things supposed to fit?

Thanks.

You are taller and heavier than me but let me recommend two shorts, both are quite different as well.

Pearl Izuma Tri shorts - they are long in the torso which may help you and come up above my belly button, but are otherwise very comfortable.

Zoot tri with 6 inch inseam - come low around my waist and have a shorter inseam which is very comfortable.

I have a 36-38 inch waste and weigh about 210lbs and wear a large.

Aevero XL have room to spare for my 38-40" waist, 32" inseam at 240 lbs.

The suggestion I make to every big guy is to visit aerotech designs. They carry everything a triathlete could want in sizes up to HUGE!

Hello

I am 6'5"  259   36/38 waist and 34 inseam so we are about the same size.

I ordered & just received the Classic Tri Short from aerotechdesigns.   I have never worn biking shorts with a pad because I did not like the feel between my legs.  So this morning on my run I put on my my new tri shorts and I have to say they we excellent.  No chafing or large pad feeling between my legs.

I think for $35 they turned out well.

Hi,

I'm 6'7", 235, 38 waist and 36 inseam. I have a pair of Pearl Izumi tri shorts that are awesome. Also, my first pair were TYR and very nice as well.
