Pre-race routine:

Same crap different day here. Woke up, drank coffee, ate a peanut butter raison bagel and off I went. I ate fairly early so I had a power bar a little closer to the race.
Event warmup:

I got into the water a bit mainly just to get wet but I did a little bit of swimming.

Well...This was a lousy swim and it wasn't because wetsuits weren't allowed or because of the muck that was in the water or the fact that people were climbing all over me in the water. I simply have to work on my swimming

Not much today. Overall I would just work on swimming more and better.

I kept it nice and easy today. I felt good overall. There was one hill that had my legs tired today. Nothing I could do about that since I'm training for a half IM.

Nothing much except, as mentioned above, maybe take the day off before a sprint.

Just being a bit tired. I also didn't sleep well last night which probably didn't help.

I like this race. I've done it twice. I would do it again.

Course: This was a good course. A little set of inclines, some wind, some flats, some rough roads. A little bit of everything. I enjoyed it.
