Swim
Comments: Was too busy getting thrashed around for the first 500 to implement the changes I have recently made in my swim technique. By the time I rounded the buoey and got a little space I was cruising in my old crappy form. although I was able to grab a draft for about 500-700 yards. I was happy about that. What would you do differently?: Learn how to swim Transition 1
Comments: Too much stuff going on. Need to simplify my transition. I really wasn't in a hurry. I should have been, but I took my sweet ass time. Bike
Comments: I had a strong performance on the bike. I am happy with it. Transition 2
Comments: Still need to figure out how to get my socks and shoes on faster. Run
Comments: Cramped from the beginning, but it was not the normal lower GI cramps. I think I found the solution and fixed that. So that is the good news. The bad news is that I had side stitch or stomach cramps for the whole run. One problem fixed, another one arises. So my run was more of a slow jog pace as that is all I could handle. I was never able to kick the cramps. What would you do differently?: Figure out how to stomp the cramps before they start so I can actually run in at least one race this year. Post race
