Comments:

I did 8:20 on the first mile and then backed off from that gradually as the run progressed. I sprinted the last 0.2
What would you do differently?:

Start slower and speed up at the end. I have a tendency to get excited and burn myself out before the end.

I had a good time despite my inability to pace myself. I'm still working on that. I got two people from work to do it with me. Overall there were about 5 people I knew doing the run.

Good race!  It's difficult to learn pacing, but it will come...
