Last start (8:30 am), so got to race about 6:30 am and had a lot of time to chill.

Not sure there was much I could do.

Warm down:

Had to keep moving to keep calves from cramping. Walked for 25 min. before turning in bike and boggying for the hotel/airport.

Event comments:

Missed my goal by 18 min. due to the bad run. I was on pace until I got to the run. Not sure I could have done much other than train in the extreme heat more.

Your swim and bike were fantastic; great job on the run given the conditions as well. Tough to train in extreme heat if you don't really live where there is extreme heat. When you say you "dropped off your bike", were you using TriBike Transport? If so, that's a great service. If not, what did you use? Swimming in a river sounds cool, although the current must be tough to get used to. Great job.

I used Wheels on Wheels.  Similar except you don't have to take anything off the bike, even pedals.  Worked out well.  I'll probably use them again for IM CDA.
