Swim
Comments: I felt good, but time shows slower than usual. Rechecked my training log vs last year and definitely light on swims leading up to this race. What would you do differently?: Just before starting the wave, re-adjust timing chip. I was not able to kick as much as I wanted because it was loose during the swim. Transition 1
Comments: my bike rack was close to the entry from the swim . . . but very far to the bike mount, including an uphill run with cleats. Felt very comfortable and kept running. What would you do differently?: #5 overall AG finisher, 2:31 Bike
Comments: #5 overall AG finisher, 33:42 = 20.5 mph Transition 2
Comments: I had no trouble finding my bike. Helped that I was neater when puting my swim things down vs last tri (sans wetsuit) #5 overall AG finisher, 2:06 Run
Comments: food gel fell out of side pockets during 1/2 half of run. Could have used it. Did consciously push for hard breathing, vs laid back. Gave 99%. #5 overall AG finisher, 24:07 @ 7:47 pace Post race
Warm down: massage, probably should have stretched more ate pasta, meatballs, italian ice, peanut butter cookie What limited your ability to perform faster: tight hamstings Last updated: 2008-11-25 12:00 AM
